Try It!

While capturing key dates is optional, we recommend that you work with the sponsor to identify and capture the Key Dates that will be important to the stakeholders.

A Key Date is simply an event that has significance to one or more stakeholders and needs to be monitored and reported on such as Quarterly Performance Reports or Semi-annual financial reconciliations or Alignment with corporate Q3 objectives or Program Integration test.

To capture key dates:

  1. Ensure you have the appropriate portfolio (or program) open.

  2. Click the Key Dates tab.

  3. Click +New Key Date.

  4. Complete the Quick Create Key Date form and then click Save and Close from the bottom.

  5. Set the status by dragging and dropping the Key Dates card to the appropriate Status column.

Important: If you used the +New Key Date under the appropriate KPI column this step is not necessary.
