Try It!
While capturing key dates is optional, we recommend that you work with the sponsor to identify and capture the Key Dates that will be important to the stakeholders.
A Key Date is simply an event that has significance to one or more stakeholders and needs to be monitored and reported on such as Quarterly Performance Reports or Semi-annual financial reconciliations or Alignment with corporate Q3 objectives or Program Integration test.
To capture key dates:
- Ensure you have the appropriate portfolio (or program) open.
- Click the Key Dates tab.
- Click +New Key Date.
- Complete the Quick Create Key Date form and then click Save and Close from the bottom.
- Set the status by dragging and dropping the Key Dates card to the appropriate Status column.
Important: If you used the +New Key Date under the appropriate KPI column this step is not necessary.
